Following the death of Mac Miller, Ariana Grande has been struggling to cope with her ex-boyfriend’s passing. Ariana dated the Swimming rapper before she moved on to the Saturday Night Live star, Pete Davidson.
Reportedly, Ariana canceled her scheduled appearence on Saturday Night Live for its 44th season premiere. The star cited “emotional reasons” for her decision to cancel.
Ariana admitted that she has struggled through a “tough month.” Lorne Michaels, 73, confirmed Ariana dropped out for “emotional reasons two days ago.”
That was the night of their premiere, so initially, he and the rest of the team were concerned. However, Kanye West stood up and offered to partake in the show, and SNL executives accepted.
The 25-year-old pop star took to Instagram earlier to post a series of mysterious messages, including, “Can I please have one okay day. Just one, please.”
On Thursday, Ariana said to all of her fans that she was so “tired” and thanked her fans for loving her, despite her “not deserving it.” Many of Ariana’s fans supported her.
Additionally, on Sunday, the 22nd of September, Ariana tweeted to her fans that “everything would be ok.” However, a few days later she wrote, “just f*cking kidding.”
As it was previously reported, Mac Miller, her ex-boyfriend, died back in August due to a drug overdose. Following his death, many people laid the blame on Ariana, insinuating that her breaking up with him led the 26-year-old to take drugs.
As a way of defending herself, Ariana disabled the comment section on all of her Instagram posts, that way no one could send cruel remarks. Davidson, on the other hand, reportedly has played a crucial role in supporting his fiancée while she struggles emotionally.
