Since the Coronavirus pandemic has kept celebrities virtually locked in their homes and away from the beauty treatments they usually undergo, there has been a growing number of celebrities who look more like common people. Certainly, there are celebrities who are hiding behind their drawn curtains for fear anyone will see what they look like as their roots grow in and their botox wears off, but more celebrities seem to simply not care. Though people are staying inside there have been many celebrities spotted walking to the store in casual or even frumpy clothes, with their hair disheveled and not a trace of makeup. Other celebrities are braving social media and posting selfies without any glam or glitz.

Still, a few celebrities seem to have an endless supply of "perfect" selfies on hand and are flooding their social media with throwback pics but it's those celebrities who are looking more like common folk that people are paying attention to.

The #IStayHomeFor challenge seemed to be the perfect opportunity for revealing makeup-free photos and it makes sense — if you aren't going anywhere, you don't have to have your hair and makeup professionally done. Actor Kevin Bacon is the one who started the trend and celebrities tag other celebrities who share why they are staying home.

In the past, getting a photo of a celebrity without makeup was a rarity — in light of the Coronavirus pandemic, it is now commonplace.

Amanda Seyfried took part in the #IStayHomeFor challenge and chose to go makeup-free. You may see the video she posted below.

With the IStayHomeFor challenge, people share a video explaining why they are staying home for the Coronavirus pandemic and who they are staying home for. Julia Roberts was nominated and she chose to share a makeup-free selfie, as did Dakota Fanning.

And Nicole Kidman shared a video showing honor to health care workers looking very much like common folk and less like her glamorous, red-carpet self.
