Sharna Burgess Posts Videos Defending Nick Carter Following His Rape Scandal - Check Out What She Had To Say!

Sharna Burgess has taken to social media to share a two part vid in which she defends her former Dancing with the Stars partner Nick Carter following his sexual assault accusations. As you may be aware, the man was accused of rape by  Melissa Schuman.

The 32-year-old decided that putting her opinion out there was a good idea and she had a lot to say.

The Australian dancer tweeted two videos in which she praised Nick and told anyone willing to listen about her experience working with him on the dance competition.

But even though her stance could definitely be perceived as victim shaming, she explained that she intended to just share some positivity about the man as he might need it.

Sharna went on to talk about how respectful Nick was during their time on the show, arguing that the fact that he has owned up to mistakes in the past should be an inspiration to many.

‘Nick was one of the most respectful guys that I ever danced with on the show. What I loved about Nick, was he always took ownership of the things that he had been through, the darkness in his history, the mistakes that he had made. He wanted to be very open about how he felt about them even though they were very heavy and hard for him to even say out loud,’ Sharna stated.

As expected, her posts were met with both positive and negative reactions.

One user argued that despite the fact that he may have been nice and respectful towards her, that does not excuse some of his other actions.

‘Sharna, there are different sides to every person. Just because Nick was very respectful to you doesn’t mean he did or didn’t do it. You were not there; you have no idea. Please stop this.’

Others made sure to applaud her for expressing the love for her pal despite the scandal he is involved in.

At the beginning of last month, a former member of girl group Dream, 33-year-old Melissa Schuman accused Nick Carter of forcing himself on her when she was just 18 years old and still a virgin.

Since then, Nick denied her allegations, claiming that she consented to the intimate act.
