Selena Gomez Talks Abuse In A Past Relationship -- Is She Referencing Justin Bieber?
Selena Gomez released two hit singles in October and is gearing up to release her first album in years. The former Disney Channel star recently spoke about abuse in a past relationship and all signs point to her ex Justin Bieber.
The Lose You To Love Me singer has been through it all over the past few years she was out of the spotlight. From nearly losing her life to Lupus to a breakup with both The Weeknd and Justin Bieber -- the 27-year-old has lots to sing about.
LYTLM was played to Taylor Swift and her mom before it was released and the mother-daughter duo started crying out of how proud they were of Selena who they've known for the last decade.
Gomez opened up about it in an interview with Kiss FM: 'It's gonna make me cry thinking about it. Because it wasn't just about how great the song was, which is a lot coming from her, it was just that they had been on that journey with me, intimately. And they were crying because of how proud they were for me stepping into a whole new era of my life, and it not involving the horrible things, the abuse, the emotional chaos, it felt like I had a huge sigh of relief.'
Justin recently owned up to all of the things he did before marrying Hailey Baldwin. From getting arrested to mistreating women, the 25-year-old took time to reflect via Instagram.
The caption of the post partly read: 'I Became resentful, disrespectful to women, and angry. I became distant to everyone who loved me, and i was hiding behind, a shell of a person that i had become. It's taken me years to bounce back from all of these terrible decisions, fix broken relationships, and change relationship habits.'
He went on to say how thankful he was to be married to Hailey.
