Her reveal of everything she has been doing to stay mentally healthy during this time was part of Instagram’s #TakeABreak series and it was the perfect opportunity to give her fans some inspiration but also tease that new music might be coming their way sooner than later!
The clip she filmed was shared on Instagram’s official account and it featured the songstress taking everyone on a tour of how she’s spending her days in quarantine.
At the same time, she discussed how important it really is for everyone to take care of themselves mentally as well as physically.
‘I’m going to show you some of the things that help me stay positive during this time,’ the star says before going on to talk about mental health and showing her DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) books.
Finally, she walks into a room that had all kinds of music equipment in it and tells the camera that: ‘This is my little area of creativeness. This is our makeshift studio. This is how I basically write or work on music that needs to be worked on.’
As far as relaxing is concerned, she dishes that ‘I usually take a walk at night so I can get rid of the day a little bit. And then I take a shower, wash my face, and when I get into bed, friends laugh at me, but I have a heating pad. It is almost like an anxiety blanket, it feels really nice. I'll sometimes journal and I have these beautiful face sprays, rosewater, a candle to help me as well and I also have my little Daisy.’
