According to a new report by In Touch, Selena Gomez is working on a health-related documentary that will chronicle her struggles with Lupus. Selena shocked fans nationwide when she revealed she underwent a kidney transplant last summer. Selena has never been shy about sharing her health issues with the public and has always been in control of how information is released to the media. Though Selena Gomez hasn’t personally confirmed the report publicly, it makes sense that this could be a project she’s working on.
The report states that Selena Gomez will give viewers an in-depth look at her life and battle with Lupus and will clear away any confusion the public may have had regarding reports.
While some fans are saying they have trouble believing the In Touch report because it quotes an anonymous source, others feel that it seems in line with the type of project Selena Gomez would work on. Her IMDB page lists her projects that are currently in progress.
Selena Gomez is currently filming an untitled Woody Allen movie and working on Hotel Transylvania 3. At this point, there is nothing on IMDB about the health-related documentary.

When Selena Gomez announced she underwent a kidney transplant and that her best friend Francia Raisa donated her kidney to save Selena’s life, she did so on Instagram.
She discussed a little bit about what she went through but stated that she looked forward to sharing more of her health struggles with her fans. A documentary might be the best vehicle for Selena to deliver that message.
Selena Gomez is a woman of many talents. In addition to being the celebrity with the most Instagram followers, she is not just an actress and singer, but also a producer. She is the executive producer of the controversial Netflix series 13 Reasons Why.
Since Selena has a working relationship with Netflix and as 13 Reasons Why is gearing up for a second season, it’s possible she could have a documentary on Netflix. As she is already producing, it seems highly plausible this is a true report.
