Social media responded furiously to the woman’s statement! Just a couple of days following the horrifying Las Vegas mass shooting, Scientologist Kirstie Alley decided to make some really odd comments about the tragedy that managed to offend users everywhere!
Alley took to Twitter to claim that the reason why 64-year-old Stephen Paddock opened fire could have been prescription medication!
‘We have to solve the mystery of why there were no ‘shooters’ or almost 0 before the 1980’s. I know one common denominator other than guns. One additional common denominator of shooters is USA’s mass usage of psychiatric drugs. A percent do have side effects of VIOLENCE and SUICIDE,’ the actress argued.
But when a furious user could not believe what she had just said and tweeted back at her, Alley stood her ground and said that it was all based on facts and statistics.
She claimed that before the 1980s such common dominator in shooters did not exist.
Talking about the terrible shooting that took 59 lives and injured over 500 other people, the dedicated Scientologist continued her controversial statement, saying: ‘It is an actual bonified black box warning label on these drugs as possible side effects. VIOLENCE and SUICIDE.’
Reportedly, the mass murderer committed suicide in his own hotel room before the police forces were able to find and capture him.
After more and more people started slamming her for trying to get political so soon after the tragedy, she followed up with a tweet claiming that condolences and prayers are just not enough anymore.
As you may be aware, many Scientologists such as Tom Cruise have been very vocal about their aversion to prescription drugs in the past.
They seem to believe that many common health issues can simply be cured by consuming many vitamins and through faith.
