Ever since the season ten premiere of Real Housewives of New York, rumors have been swirling that stars Bethenny Frankel and Carole Radziwill are feuding and no longer friends. Something had been brewing between the two of them for a long time, but after the two had a fight in the Berkshires, Radziwill says the former besties are no longer getting along. However, Frankel claims that there is no drama between them. So, who should fans believe?
According to Champagne and Shade, Frankel said during an interview this week that she loves Radziwill, but she has a close-knit group of friends and Radziwill was never a part of it. Apparently, Frankel didn’t think the two were as close as Radziwill did, and she isn’t grieving the broken relationship.
Frankel explained that friendships on a reality show can be tricky because there are people around who can influence things, and some will do things for ratings. This explains why one week two cast members are supposedly good friends, and then the next they are at each other’s throats.
But Radziwill says that she and Frankel were close friends, and now the two aren’t getting along. Radziwill says that Frankel has started changing and is very critical of her all the time. She also said things started to get mean and all about gossip. Radziwill added that she doesn’t recognize Frankel as the woman she used to know.
Radziwill has gone through a lot of changes herself this year, including taking a break from her relationship with her boyfriend, Adam Kenworthy. She says that the age difference is an issue, plus the fact that he wants kids.
The 54-year-old has been spending her time running on the waterfront and preparing for the New York City marathon. Meanwhile, Frankel is in Australia doing press for her companies and for the Real Housewives of New York.
The Skinny Girl mogul is also doing a lot of talking about the upcoming wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and revealed that she once dated Markle’s ex-husband, film producer Trevor Engelson. She says that they no longer have any kind of romantic connection – and she knows that isn’t as interesting as what the tabloids say – but she does believe that he has a girlfriend.
Frankel added that Engelson recently pitched her a good idea for a TV series, and when he sent her the script, she liked it.
