The Today anchor is sick and tired of reading so many people’s rude comments about the way she looks. That being said, Savannah Guthrie took to social media to make it as clear as possible that she is NOT pregnant and that it is never Okay to ask a woman about that.
On Tuesday, Guthrie tweeted about the pregnancy speculations, shutting them down completely.
It all started when she noticed a number of comments about her appearance on the morning show.
One particular tweet, which has been deleted in the meantime, received a reply from Savannah reading: ‘It is just the dress. Excuse me while I go burn it.’
Also today, she took to Instagram to share a graphic titled: ‘When is it okay to ask a woman if she is pregnant?’
The picture featured a woman in different stages of her pregnancy and the word ‘no’ was written under each one.
‘Excuse me while I spend the rest of the day on the elliptical,’ Guthrie captioned the post.
Surely enough, Savannah received some support from her friends and fans.
Today contributor Jenna Bush Hager commented on the post saying: ‘Did someone ask you. Please tell me NOOOO. Dance aerobic at 3 pm.’
In addition, Model Christy Turlington was quick to write ‘Left hook or an upper cut?’
As you may be aware, Guthrie already shares two kids with her hubby Mike Feldman.
Their daughter, Vale was born in 2014, while they welcomed son Charles in 2016.
It sounds like Savannah is not planning on having any more children in the near future and she would really appreciate it if people stopped assuming.
