Sarah Michelle Gellar took to social media to post a throwback pic from when she was portraying her iconic ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’ character and pointed out how ridiculous her bangs used to look like at the time! Her hilarious post had the actress comparing the hairstyle with the DIY haircuts people have been getting while stuck at home during the COVID-19 quarantine!

It’s safe to say that the actress managed to put a really funny and relatable meme out there and fans were quick to respond and share it for those reasons!

Mocking the hair she used to have while playing Buffy in the beloved 90s show also caused people to be nostalgic!

The image was in fact a screengrab from a random scene, showing the character in a purple button-down, her bangs choppy and at a really awkward and unusually short length!

The title card above the image reads: ‘How some of y’alls quarantine haircuts are looking [side eye emoji].’

Furthermore, she went on to write in the caption that: ‘What’s funny is, I was just contemplating an at home haircut #quarantine #quarancut.’

Here are a couple of different reactions to the meme: ‘In my brain it never actually looked this bad.’ / ‘We want an explanation on these bangs please?’

Sarah Michelle Gellar has been making sure to keep her many followers entertained during the quarantine, sharing a lot of hilarious and just overall fun content.

For instance, she also joined the #pillowchallenge, that was inspired by Tiger King!

Therefore, the actress showed off how in shape she is by posing with nothing but a pillow covering her nude frame, as well as a pair of cowboy boots.

And that was not all! Last month she also shared a pic of her holding a huge stake with the caption: ‘Hmmmm…….. found this on my walk today.’

It was, of course, her way of referencing Buffy and diehard fans loved it!
