As any millennial knows, if it doesn’t happen on social media, then it doesn’t happen. So Modern Family star Sarah Hyland posted pictures of her and Bachelorette star, Wells Adams, this past weekend, making the couple’s new romance Instagram official. But, what does that mean for his friendship with Danielle Maltby?
Hyland, 26, posted first, and she shared a goofy selfie of her and Adams with the caption, “He puts up with me.” Then, according to OK! Magazine, Adams, 33, followed with a sweet snapshot of the two lovingly looking into each other’s eyes.
But, as soon as the actress and reality star shared their pictures, many Bachelor fans started wondering what happened to Adams’ relationship with bestie-turned-kinda girlfriend, Maltby. This past summer, rumors swirled that the two had started dating after his stint on Bachelor in Paradise. Hyland and Adams ignored the comments, but Maltby decided to address the haters and give her support to the new couple.
Maltby wrote that she is a fan of the two and she has never seen Adams so giddy and happy. She went on to say that people should stop being negative and show some love for such a cute and genuine coupling.
After the pair posted a fun Halloween picture of their coordinated Stranger Things costumes, a source told People that Hyland and Adams had been friends for a long time and they have been spending a lot of time together. Now, it seems they have taken things to the next level.
Fans have been watching Hyland on the hit ABC sitcom for nearly a decade. But, Adams is a relative newcomer to the fame game. He was a radio host in Nashville for nearly ten years and currently hosts a podcast with Miley Cyrus’s older sister Brandi called Your Favorite Thing. The show focuses on their favorite things of the week and covers everything from politics to clothes to Game of Thrones.
He has appeared on three different seasons of The Bachelor franchise with his first time coming during JoJo Fletcher’s season of The Bachelorette, but he got cut during week six. He later came back for season three of Bachelor in Paradise, and this past season returned as the bartender.
