Sanaa Lathan wants no part in the Tiffany Haddish and Beyonce scandal whereby the former alleged that an unknown actress bit the singer while at a party in Hollywood one night.
As it was previously reported, Tiffany sat down with reporters from GQ and told a story that a woman clamped down on Beyonce’s face, and after the comedienne threatened to beat her up, the “Lemonade” singer offered to take a selfie to “calm her down.”
In response to the claims that it was Sanaa, the actress said the rumors were one of the most “absurd” things she’s ever been a part of, and in no way shape or form are they true.
In her cover story of Health Magazine, the actress stated she’s been in the entertainment business for a long time and has been the subject of so many rumors that she can’t even count them.
Lathan admitted they used to “devastate” her twenty years ago, but they no longer do. She learned to roll with the punches. Lathan added, “I adore Beyonce,” and “would never do something like that to anybody,” she explained.
The actress went on to say she didn’t even believe it was a legitimate news story at first, either. “It’s so crazy.” Lathan’s denial of the report leads one to believe that you shouldn’t believe everything you hear on Twitter.
As you may know, Twitter users were the ones to track down the attendees at the party, and Haddish allegedly confirmed the perpetrator was, in fact, Lathan.
On the 26th of March, The Alien Versus Predator alum said if she did bite the iconic entertainer, “it would’ve been a love bite.” Additionally, to add fuel to the fire, Beyonce released a track after the #WhoBitBeyonce hashtag with lyrics suggesting she’d have to get people to sign non-disclosure agreements from now on.
