Sam Smith Thanks Fans After 'Tough Week' Before Releasing His New Single
Sam Smith is relieved to finally be back after an insane week. Yesterday, the singer released his well-awaited single Too Good at Goodbyes and took to social media to express his gratitude towards his fans for the massive support and positive response the song has been getting.
The 25-year-old star informed his followers that he was about to board a plane but before that he wanted to thank everybody.
‘This week’s been so tough, and I’ve been insanely nervous. But your words and messages today have made me overwhelmingly happy. I am so ecstatic to be back, and I cannot wait to sing for you all. See you on the other side,’ he posted, adding that he loves his fans very much.
The new album seems more melancholic, and it fits perfectly with Sam's soft voice.
Unlike other hits of the crooner, such as Stay with Me which manages to still bring a sense of hope for romance Too Good at Goodbyes is a lot gloomier.
The lyrics proclaim himself as completely broken by the suffering of being mistreated by an ex-lover.
Nevertheless, the song is very good and it managed to get to the hearts of many.
Besides, we will all be able to listen to it sung live very soon.
Also today, Smith announced a couple of tour dates this month, in New York, Berlin, London and Los Angeles.
We are very excited to listen to Sam Smith's perfect vocals live!
