Ryan Dorsey Says He's So Grateful To Have Naya Rivera's Sister Helping Him With Josey Following Naya's Death
Ryan Dorsey took to his social media this week to address the rumors surrounding his ex-wife's sister, Nickayla Rivera. Page Six says fans have been putting him on blast ever since it was revealed that Nickayla had moved into his home to help him take care of Josey.
Not long after the media picked up on the story, people began sending him hate mail and death threats, the actor explained. Dorsey chose to address the haters with a 12-minute video on his Instagram in which he defended himself against the keyboard warriors.
In the video posted near the ending of Tuesday, Dorsey explained how his son, Josey, asked for "Titi" to live with them. He says he asked for her to live with them forever because that's all he has for a mother right now.
Dorsey, the ex-husband of Naya who passed away earlier this year, claimed he was grateful to have Nickayla and other close family members to help out because it's been a challenging time, regardless of the commentators who have been so ruthless.
Dorsey went on to address the reports of him having a relationship with Nickayla. He said the idea was absurd, and the last thing he wants running through his head at this time are ideas like that.
Additionally, Nickayla defended Dorsey on social media yesterday. She wrote that during the "darkest time" in her life, the most important thing was for her to show up for her nephew.
As it was previously reported, Naya Rivera died from drowning on Lake Piru in California this year. She was 33-years-old at the time of her death. Reports claimed she was calling out for help when she couldn't get back on the boat after getting Josey on the vessel.
According to the investigators, Josey says his mother called out for help repeatedly before she was submerged into the water. The star's death led to an outpouring of tributes from her former co-stars on Glee, as well as her ex-boyfriends, like Big Sean.
