Russell Simmons continues to find himself wrapped up in a sexual misconduct controversy as yet another woman is claiming that he raped her. According to court documents obtained by E! News, Russell is fighting an additional unnamed woman who accused him of assaulting her after she attended a concert with her elementary school-aged son.
After meeting Russell at the show and hanging out backstage, the woman claims she left her son with a babysitter and then visited a hotel bar with him.
The woman stated that Russell told her he was running into his apartment to “grab something” and after she came up with him, the hip-hop mogul said to her, “I’m going to f*ck you” and then assaulted her in his bed.
In a statement, Simmons said he vehemently denies all of the allegations. The hip-hop businessman admitted he has apologized in the past for “thoughtlessness” in his relationships, but will work hard to clear his name when accused of false charges.

Russell who has made a name for himself not only through his career in hip-hop and the creation of Def Jam Records but also as a philanthropist and spiritual practitioner.
Russell frequently posts self-development-style posts on his Instagram; undoubtedly ironic considering the charges levied against him.
As for the evidence, the woman claims other people saw her leave his hotel following the incident. This marks the fifteenth accusation against the Def Jam Records co-founder.
As you may already know, Russell and Brett Ratner were at the center of a sexual impropriety scandal over twenty years ago, after a young model claimed she was raped by both men. Ratner and Russell have disappeared from the limelight since then.
It was the first story to kick off the other allegations and The New York Times continued the trend after they published an exposé where multiple women accused Simmons of egregious behavior. Today, Russell is fighting in court and in the lawsuit, the woman is suing for $10 million in punitive damages because of the infliction of negligence and emotional distress.
