Rosie O'Donnell's Estranged Daughter Chelsea Announces Pregnancy, Says Mom 'Will Not Be In My Child's Life'
According to new reports, Chelsea Alliegro - Rosie O'Donnell's estranged daughter - is expecting a baby! The 19-year-old shared the news today during an interview, adding that she does not want her mother to be part of her child’s life.
Alliegro explained that she has always wanted to start a family of her own and that she does not feel sad the future grandma of her kid will not play any role in its life.
Chelsea tied the knot last year with 31-year-old Nick Alliegro.
With her mom, the teenager has had a really bad relationship in the past few years.
However, even though she doesn’t want her mom around her baby, she does consider O’Donnell’s former lover Kelli Carpenter to be the yet unborn child’s grandmother, just like Nick’s mother.
The young expectant mom revealed that she’s nine weeks along and due in May.
O’Donnell’s reps refused to comment.
The pregnancy news comes just a few days following Rosie’s former wife Michelle Rounds’s shocking, untimely passing.
The cause of death, which many speculate it was suicide, is still being investigated.
In an official statement, O’Donnell said she was very saddened by the tragedy and sent her thoughts and prayers to the mourning family, adding that mental illness ‘is a serious issue.'
