Roseanne Barr Reportedly Refuses To Speak To Sara Gilbert After Being Fired From Her Own Show
Roseanne Barr is not one to shy away from a good grudge. The disgraced Roseanne star has reportedly given her former co-star Sara Gilbert the cold shoulder after being fired from her show.
Gilbert recently revealed that she tried to reach out to Barr after the show got canceled, but the actress never responded.
"We haven’t spoken yet," Gilbert shared.
Barr got the boot after making racist comments on Twitter . After Barr's controversial rant, Gilbert slammed her co-star and said she was "disappointed" by her actions.
Barr immediately fired back on social media, noting, "Wow! Unreal."
Despite her initial reaction, Barr eventually apologized for the racist comments. She did not, however, apologize for what she said about Gilbert and admitted that she was shocked how everyone reacted.
Gilbert is not the only Roseanne star to get shunned by Barr. According to Radar Online , Laurie Metcalf tried to contact her former co-star and has yet to hear anything back.
Barr insists that she has gotten over the cancellation of her show and how producers handled her character's death in the spin-off, The Conners . While the disgraced comedian may have gotten over her firing, she clearly still holds a grudge against a few of her former co-stars.
The news comes after rumors claimed that Barr had suffered a heart attack. The actress took to social media over the weekend to shut down the health scare rumors and claims she is doing just fine.
Barr shared a photo of herself wearing a corset inspired t-shirt and assured fans that the heart attack rumors were only a prank. The post was Barr's first social media activity since the end of October.
ABC fired Roseanne Barr after she posted questionable comments about Barack Obama's former advisor, Valerie Jarrett. The network cancelled Roseanne and immediately started working on The Conners , a spin-off of the original series.
