Just a couple of weeks after Roseanne Barr called George Soros a Nazi, the comedian took to Twitter to right a wrong. The disgraced comedienne wrote that she “sincerely apologizes” to George Soros because the reality is that the Nazi’s persecuted his family and they survived the Holocaust.
The Roseanne alum went on to tweet a link to one of George’s charities, the Open Society Foundation website. Because of Soros’ wealth and influence, especially for his contributions to the Democratic party, he is frequently the subject of conspiracy theories from those who are center-right politically.
As you may know, this all comes after her racially charged tweets that cost her her job as well as her television show for the second time. Roseanne Barr tweeted that Valerie Jarette, a former aide under the Barack administration, was a mixture of the “Muslim Brotherhood” and the “Planet Of The Apes.”
And perhaps the most impressive part of the situation was the swiftness in which ABC effectively canceled the program. Some insiders think it may have something to do with the fact that the CEO of ABC, Channing Dungey, is a black woman, and she has been watching Roseanne for awhile, looking for a potential slip up.
Whether or not that’s true, Roseanne has had a rough past couple of weeks, and there’s no doubt that she’s just beginning to realize the full consequences of her actions.
I apologize sincerely to @georgesoros. His family was persecuted by The Nazis & survived The Holocaust only because of the strength & resourcefulness of his father. Learn more of the truth about this at https://t.co/8gJ3xZpzNC

The criticism against Barr has been ubiquitous ever since she first tweeted the “Planet Of The Apes” tweet. After she lost her show, her fans and followers defended her, and Roseanne asked for them not to do so because she was tweeting while exhausted and taking anti-anxiety medication.
However, the makers of Ambien actually released a statement claiming that their drug doesn’t make their users “racist.”
And while that may be true, others have noted that Ambien sometimes has “blackout” effects on some of its users. Some people complain that the drug causes them to lose part of their memory, and do strange things while they’re in that state.
