Rose McGowan apparently isn’t particularly fond of her former co-star on Charmed, Alyssa Milano, because she believes her involvement with the Time’s Up initiative doesn’t have a “real” foundation. The 44-year-old said, “I don’t like her,” because she thinks she’s “a lie.”
McGowan – who came out last year with allegations of rape against Harvey Weinstein – said, “do you think I don’t know these people?”
“Do the math.” The star alleged that the men behind the organization, the CAA, are a part of the “pimp problem.” Milano released a statement addressing McGowan’s comments on the show.
In the statement, she said she has always been supportive of Rose and admires her bravery for coming out with her experiences of sexual assault.
As you may know, McGowan has attacked Milano before in the past. In December, Rose stated that if Alyssa were the person she says she is, she wouldn’t be friends with Georgina Chapman, the estranged wife of Harvey Weinstein.
McGowan tweeted on the 8th of December that she makes her “want to vomit,” and gave her “flashbacks.”
Milano previously spoke about Georgina during an interview; she said Georgina “is doing very well” but is going through hard times right now.
Back in 2017, Georgina released a statement saying she had to leave her husband due to his alleged transgressions.Chapman left Harvey just a week after the New York Times published their report indicting him on sexual assault charges.
Despite Georgina’s connection to the former Weinstein Company executive, Milano has remained friends with her. Additionally, The Times claims that Harvey had ex-Israeli secret agents follow Rose and Asia Argento, both who have been incredibly vocal in their condemnation of the disgraced producer.
