Robin Wright Tells Fans That “House Of Cards” Finale Will Shock And Please

When Robin Wright, the star of House Of Cards, made her way on to NBC’s Today Show in a white-and-black outfit on Wednesday morning, she looked more confident than ever. The 52-year-old actress spoke about the latest and final season of the Netflix series, which begins airing on the 2nd of November.
Claire Underwood, the character Robin portrays, has finally taken over the Oval Office. Not only has Wright taken a fundamental spot in the show, she even played a role in the direction of the last episode.
“It is going to shock you beyond relief,” the actress remarked, urging the viewers to “watch what happens in the end.” As the world knows, the former star of the Netflix production, Kevin Spacey, arguably the most important character, was fired due to sexual misconduct allegations.
As it was previously reported, Robin replaced the Academy Award winner after Anthony Rapp came forward with his story of sexual assault, at the behest of Mr. Spacey.
According to Rapp, Kevin tried to seduce him when he was just a 14-year-old boy, and Kevin was 26-years-old at the time. The incident occurred after a play one night.
Following Rapp’s revelations, many other people came forward about Kevin Spacey, explaining that he was sexually aggressive and often times, a bully on set.
When Kevin lost his job, it was revealed that Wright would be taking his place, and Kevin’s character would be killed off. Patricia Clarkson, who was on The Talk on CBS several months ago, explained that Robin played a crucial role in the resuscitation of the series.
As fans of the show know, Clarkson joined House Of Cards last year, and she made it continued because a lot of people were counting on it for a source of income.
