Rita Ora And Cardi B Make Out In New Music Video For ‘Girls’

Today, Rita Ora dropped the music video for her previously criticized song titled Girls that also features Cardi B, Bebe Rexha, and Charli XCX! Knowing the lyrics, we are not totally surprised the video also included a kiss scene between Rita and Cardi!
The music video starts with the main singer wearing a Grecian-style gold gown and necklace while women dressed in nothing but nude underwear are laying around her.
In separate frames, Bebe Rexha and Charli XCX also show up!
Charli is dressed in all-white while outside in the darkness and Rexha wears all-red while her setting is a room filled with mirrors.
The entire video is definitely a visual experience, but of course, the most memorable instance starts when Cardi B, who is a hologram, appears and she and Ora begin to interact.
As the song goes on, the two dance around one another only to share a kiss close to the end of the music video!
At the very end, Ora is back where she was in the beginning, surrounded by those other women.
The important difference, however, is the fact that now, they look much more confident and powerful as they sit up and stare right into the camera.
While the main theme of the song is bisexual liberation, you may know already that is has been slammed for actually being quite harmful to the LGBTQ+ community!
Last month, Hayley Kiyoko was one of the artists who criticized ‘Girls’ by saying that the message was ‘downright tone-deaf.’
‘A song like this just fuels the male gaze while marginalizing the idea of women loving women. I know this was not the intention of the artists on the song, but it is the lack of consideration behind these lyrics that really get me,’ she explained in an Instagram post.
