Rihanna Slams Donald Trump For Playing Her Song At His 'Tragic Rallies' -- She Is Coming For Him
A busy Rihanna took a few minutes from the happy festivities she has been enjoying to go after Donald Trump.
The diva is currently in Barbados having the time of her life with her grandfather, Lionel Braithwaite, who turned 90 years young and is dancing to salsa music like he is 20.
Despite being busy, Rihanna caught wind of this message posted by Washington Post White House Bureau Chief Philip Rucker: “It’s been said a million times, but here’s a million and one — Trump’s rallies are unlike anything else in politics. Currently, Rihanna’s “Don’t Stop the Music” is blaring in Chattanooga as aides toss free Trump T-shirts into the crowd, like a ball game. Everyone’s loving it.”
Rihanna bashed Trump in a tweet that read: “Not for much longer… me nor my people would ever be at or around one of those tragic rallies, so thanks for the heads up, Philip!”
One fan applauded Rihanna's move: "Salute to Rhianna????Beautiful inside nd out. He can't find some racist to make his own song? He hates us, but he sure loves our music! #pathetic."
Another commenter stated: "This is why I love u Queen Riri ?They was playing her music at a rally where I live I was mad asf Rihanna don’t like you so don’t play her music Rihanna is one of the few celebrities whose talk matches their walk. Her actions align with her words. She didn’t agree with the NFL’s stance on not supporting black people’s views; she turned down the entire Super Bowl. Now she’s about to hit the President of the United States of America with a mean cease and desist to stop him from playing her music because she doesn’t support him in any way, shape, or form. Bruh, an entire Queen."
This supporter shared: "I feel like artists should just preemptively send cease and desists for their entire catalogs to Donnie if they feel so inclined. Why doesn't he use Kanye's music since their such good buddies? I wanna hear him play “Flashing Lights” or sum lol and see how Kanye feel then."
Trump has awoken Rihanna who jumped on Instagram to tell people to go vote on November 6.
Rihanna said: "FLORIDA: You have the opportunity to make history this election. The US has only had four black Governors in its entire history, and we can help make #AndrewGillum the next one and Florida’s first! If you’re tired of feeling like you don’t matter in the political process, know the most important thing you can do in supporting a candidate is finding someone who will take on critical issues such as: making minimum wage a livable wage, paying teachers what their worth, ensuring criminal justice reform, making healthcare a right, and repealing Stand Your Ground. That’s a platform we MUST support. Let’s #bringithome, Florida. Vote @andrewgillum. And VOTE YES on Amendment 4 to restore voting rights to folks who have already paid their debt to society. VOTE on November 6th!"
RiRi has always cultivated a political side.
