Rihanna Shows Love To Megan Rapinoe For Her Sweet Tribute To Nipsey Hussle — Will Lauren London React?
Lauren London and the rest of Nipsey Hussle’s family must be proud to see how many people the late activist has touched worldwide.
On Sunday, Megan Rapinoe and the other phenomenal ladies from the American soccer team won their fourth Women’s World Cup title by beating the Netherlands in a match that took place in France.
Rapinoe, who is from California and has been in a war of words with President Donald Trump, quoted late rapper Nipsey Hussle during her celebration.
The outspoken pink-haired team captain picked the lyrics from the rapper’s 2018 track “Hussle and Motivated” in an Instagram post.
She posted a photo where she is holding her the Golden Ball and Golden Boot awards and captioned it: “Ain’t really trip on the credit, I just paid all of my dues. I just respected the game, now my name all in the news. Trippin’ on all of my moves, quote me on this, got a lot more to prove.”
Rapinoe, who said that she is not “f–ing” going to the White House if her team won the World Cup, is being praised by many including Rihanna (who wrote 🙌🏿💪🏿💕) and some Nipsey’s entourage.
One supporter wrote: “And let us not forget she was the first athlete PERIOD to kneel with Kap, I have no choice but to Stan. The trump supporters are weary with the sickness! That can’t take her anymore!!!! #LoveHer.”
Another commenter shared: “Stood against trump on the world stage and quoted Nipsey?! Yeah, ill fix ya plate shawty. The only kinda white woman I like. Respect and congrats, champ. This proves that we can all learn something from one another. Less hating, more communicating.”
This person wrote: “She’s from Cali, Nip’s from Cali and Nips lyrics are very motivating when you want and need to prove yourself. So in that way, it makes sense. She is the first white Player to Take a knee. She also is the head of the lawsuit against the soccer Federation for equal pay she is the troublemaker, and sometimes we need a troublemaker.”
One of Trump’s backers slammed her: “You didn’t respect the game when you brought politics into it! Unprofessional and your award is undeserved. You should be ashamed of yourself… and should realize FIFA is giving you all the love just to spit America and President Trump!”
Hussle’s reach is global.
