Rihanna posed for Vogue and spoke about pregnancy and romance with A$AP Rocky
On the cover, the singer poses in a lace Alaïa jumpsuit, and for a photoshoot (the author of the photo was the legendary Annie Leibovitz) inside the magazine, Rihanna tried on outfits by Marc Jacobs, Rick Owens, Saint Laurent, as well as a black chiffon dress created by Glenn Martens for Jean Paul Gaultier.
In an interview, Rihanna opened up about her pregnancy and her relationship with her baby's father, A$AP Rocky. The singer noted that she has not yet noticed any changes in herself because she will soon become a mother and remains who she is.
Rihanna, indeed, does not change herself: the singer actively leads a social life and simply does not leave the pages of the fashion chronicle, surprising and sometimes shocking with her outfits.
When I found out that I was pregnant, I thought to myself: there is no way I would go shopping in any department for expectant mothers. Sorry, dressing up is way too much fun. I won't let this part of my life disappear because my body is chan2ging.
Rihanna said, noting that her stylist is having a hard time now because her volumes are changing quickly.
The celebrity also commented on one of the most viral outfits that everyone discussed - a transparent Dior dress, in which she appeared at the brand's show in Paris.
To me, this dress is actually the most maternity wear I have ever worn. But, until that moment, we had not addressed the image of a lady. So I thought, "Let's make a lady!"
Rihanna's interpretation of this look included chains, a choker, and thongs from her own brand Savage x Fenty.
Well, people would still see my panties. So it better be my brand
- retorted the singer.
When appearing in public, Rihanna now does not seek to wear closed things or hide her stomach - rather, the opposite. For this, the singer is sometimes criticized online - some believe that she exposes her stomach too intrusively. But Rihanna disagrees.
My body is going through an incredible period right now, and I'm not going to be ashamed of it. This time should be festive. Why should you hide your pregnancy?
Rihanna was outraged.
Rihanna also revealed that the pregnancy was not planned.
I didn't plan it, but I certainly don't mind. I didn't calculate when I ovulated and all that. We just had a good time
— said the singer.
