Rihanna Just Signed A Publishing Deal With Sony Records
Rihanna bags another significant achievement these days. The Shade Room just reported that she signed a publishing deal with Sony Records.
TSR writes that 'it looks like we could be getting that Rihanna album after all! It's been a long wait, but Rih could be making moves toward a completed project.'
TSR cited the info from the Billboard and said: 'the bad gal has just signed a worldwide deal with Sony/ATV Music Publishing, which covers her entire songwriting catalog plus any future work she puts out. The agreement reportedly includes "Love on the Brain", "Needed Me", "Rude Boy", and "Work".'
'I'm proud to have known Rihanna since the beginning of her career,' said Sony executive Jon Platt. 'Music, fashion, philanthropy,' and more, he continued.
Some of her fans were excited following the news, but others said that this is a bad move.
A follower said: 'They must have given her 500 million for that catalog 💪🏾' and one other fan posted: 'Somebody said she signing everything but that album 😂😂.'
Someone else posted: 'She’s only giving y’all one more album and then dipping to these business deals 😂'
A follower commented: 'And y’all thought she was pregnant 😩 sis is in her whole entire bag.'
A follower posted: 'If you woke up this morning despite what’s going on in your life you are blessed!'
A fan seemed worried for Rihanna's move: 'Why would she sign with Sony of all people? Bad move.'
Other than this, Rihanna wore a black Givenchy gown as she attended the 2019 Diamond Ball at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City.
The star managed to spark a massive debate with the color of her skin.
