Rihanna and SZA are proving to be the perfect team when it comes to marketing and kicking off new beauty trends. Rihanna’s company Fenty is a huge success selling everything from makeup toofficially licensed sportswear items and footwear. This holiday season, Rihanna unveiled her newest addition to her makeup collection. Giving Kylie Jenner Cosmetics a run for the money, Rihanna’s new camo lipstick is becoming a trend and a new campaign featuring SZA modeling the unusual color is going viral. Whether camo green lipstick will outlast the campaign and holiday season remains to be seen, but with the response and reaction that SZA is getting to her photo modeling the unique shade, it seems this color may be here to stay. The official name of the camouflage-hued lipstick by Fenty Beauty is Midnight Wasabi.
Though Midnight Wasabi is just one of 14 colors that will be included in the new Fenty Beauty collection, it is receiving the most attention and going viral due to the stunning look on SZA. The shade is getting rave reviews from fans who are responding to the first photos and many say it’s the perfect complement or accessory for those who enjoy wearing camouflage-style clothing.
The new lipstick line will be available for sale on December 26, 2017, online and in stores such as Sephora. Though the collection won’t be available pre-Christmas, many expect it will quickly sell out for the remainder of the holiday season.
