Rick Ross finally took to social media to update the fans on his recovery following the collapse at home which had fellow celebrities clamoring for him to get better. Rick Ross, 42, shared a photograph on Instagram on Thursday with the caption, “Ain’t nothing like home,” along with the “blessed” emoji.
The rapper said he “loves Y’all.” Rick wore a black coat with the message on the back, “Black Bottle Boys,” while holding Belaire champagne.
And while it’s excellent the rapper is recovering, fans on social media pointed to the irony of him clutching a bottle of alcohol following his collapse which has been attributed to poor health.
Last Thursday, a representative for the police department of Davie told People Magazine that someone called 9-1-1 at Ross’ home for medical support.
The person claimed the hip-hop mogul was laying on the floor breathing heavily and drooling out of his mouth. In a report from TMZ, the publication claims he was let go from the hospital on Monday morning following four days in the doctors’ care.
The rapper was hooked up to an ECMO, or extracorporeal membrane oxygenation machine, typically used for aiding in heart and lung functions.
As it was previously reported, the rapper has suffered from health problems in the past, including two seizures within two hours back in 2011. The Associated Press reported the news seven years ago.
According to a report from Men’s Health Magazine, the rapper was forced to refurbish his lifestyle, one where he used to eat 24-oz steaks in the early hours of the morning and weighed around 350 pounds.
Following his realization that his health needed work, he started working out and loss seventy-five pounds. Ross said to the magazine that he’s “still losing weight,” and is even building muscle.
