RHOP's Ashley Darby Explains Why She Kept Coming Back After Being Thrown Out Of Candiace Dillard's House
Last week's Real Housewives of Potomac was one for the books due to the fact that there was no lack of drama. The ladies sat down for the RHOP after show where they gave their thoughts on what happened that night that Candiace Dillard ended up throwing Ashley Darby out of her house while wielding a butterknife!
Ashley and Candiace had been going head to head ever since the newlywed accused the aspiring singer of not really wanting to have a baby because she was still consuming alcohol at the time.
At a tasting dinner at Candiace's house, the ladies got into a heated argument where Darby mocked Dillard for living as a married woman in the house she shares with her mother. Candiace got so upset that she ended up telling Ashley to get out while flailing a knife in the air.
The new mom originally did leave, but she came back multiple times when the conversation turned to the subject of her husband, Michael Darby, allegedly was heard by Robyn Dixon, Chris Bassett, and Candiace saying that he would suck one of the castmates husband's sausage.
Ashley explained why she kept re-entering the house after she was told to leave: 'Gizelle followed me outside, and in true Gizelle fashion, she threw a little bit of fuel on the fire. [Gizelle] was right that I needed to address what had been said subsequently. So, yes there was an issue I was having with Candiace. But also Robyn and I are actually friends. The fact that Robyn said Michael had said all these stuff at a birthday party – I needed to address those issues. I think that it would be remiss of me not to go back in and have a discussion right then and there, instead of allowing that stuff to fester. Obviously, there would be more dialogue happening when I left and it’s more important for me to be there and confront it.'
Ultimately, Ashley doesn't believe that her husband made the crude comment although this is far from his first time being in the middle of a scandal .
Real Housewives of Potomac airs Sunday's on Bravo at 8 p.m.
