'RHONY' LuAnn De Lesseps Estranged Husband Tom D'Agostino Wasting No Time - Already Moving On With Her Friend
The divorce between Real Housewives of New York star LuAnn de Lesseps and Tom D’Agostino isn’t final yet. But, that isn’t stopping D’Agostino from moving on. And who he is moving on with seems like quite the betrayal.
Radar Online is reporting that D’Agostino is now dating de Lesseps’s former publicist and friend Anna Rothschild. The two were seen together in the Hamptons over the Labor Day weekend. Meanwhile, de Lesseps was spending the holiday alone at her home in Sag Harbor.
Rothschild and De Lesseps were friends for many years before de Lesseps married D’Agostino in a lavish New Year’s Eve ceremony last December. But, something must have happened with their friendship. The last known picture of the two of them was taken a year before de Lesseps married D’Agostino in Palm Beach, Florida.
An insider said that the wedding was the end of the friendship. “Anna has been friends with Tom for 12 years,” shared the insider. “She hates Luann!”
D’Agostino has been quite busy since the divorce was made public last month . It was also reported that just hours after the divorce announcement, he was seen in a New York bar with a mystery woman. A couple weeks later, he was seen with another blonde.
As for LuAnn de Lesseps, she sat down with People magazine for a revealing interview about her 7-month marriage. The trouble apparently began when she spotted D’Agostino kissing an ex-girlfriend.
“You can’t change people,” she said. “I really thought he would change because I was the one for him. I really trusted my heart and my instinct, and I loved him. He had all these years to marry somebody and he didn’t, so I thought if he wants to marry me at 50 years old, this man really loves me. I knew he loved me.”
She went on to say that she doesn’t think D’Agostino is a bad man. He just simply wasn’t ready for marriage.
That doesn’t mean the split hasn’t been tough for LuAnn de Lesseps. She says she feels like a failure. But, she remains optimistic, choosing to focus on her business and her family.
