Real Housewives of New Jersey star Melissa Gorga’s relationship with her sister-in-law Teresa Giudice has had its ups and downs over the past seven seasons. Things between them started to go bad a few seasons back when Gorga brought sprinkle cookies to a Christmas party, and then they got worse the next season when Giudice got caught up in a fake rumor that Gorga used to be a stripper.
The two women eventually reconciled, and the drama seems to be in the past. And, now that Joe Giudice is set to be deported after he serves his prison sentence, Gorga has opened up about how much things have changed.

“We’re good,” Gorga says. “Teresa and I, we are family, but we have different ways of approaching things, so we do butt heads…as I think a lot of sisters-in-law do. But we’re at that point where we are a family, and we’re not going to break the way we did before.”
Gorga says that Joe’s deportation is “very hard” on Teresa, and her sister-in-law needs her support now more than ever. The family is reportedly planning to appeal the ruling, but in the meantime, Gorga is there for Teresa and her kids. She says the family is praying that things turn around, but everyone is trying to help and figure out what’s next.
Gorga also revealed that her husband Joe Gorga, Teresa’s brother, has talked with Joe Giudice, and he is “doing good” despite the deportation ruling. However, her nieces Gia, 17, and Milania, 13, are having a difficult time.
According to Cosmopolitan, Teresa is taking things day by day, but Melissa says that things are hard for her nieces because “it’s their dad.” And, if Teresa does eventually decide to go overseas, Melissa doesn’t think RHONJ will be the same without her. She says the show “would be so weird” without Teresa, and she isn’t sure the show would work without the core group of Teresa and herself.
I wonder with the basis for the appeal is here, considering he is a green card holder with most likely an “aggravated felony” conviction for immigration purpose (fraud involving… https://t.co/NKNg2UMrrJ

Producers have added new women, Jackie Goldschneider and Jennifer Aydin, to RHONJ this season, and Melissa says that each of them clashes with one of the original cast members. She revealed that one is like her and the other is like Teresa, and “it just works.”
Melissa Gorga says that Danielle Staub adds the wow-factor this year, and fans will see a lot her marital issues play out, including the wedding and the bachelor and bachelorette parties. Plus, we will also get to see Melissa’s side of the family play a bigger part in her storyline, and her marriage will also be heavily featured.
