Real Housewives of New Jersey star Danielle Staub is going through a divorce from her husband of just four months, Marty Caffrey, and the former couple is starting to go after each other in the media. During a recent appearance on The Wendy Williams Show, Staub claimed that Caffrey’s drinking was one of the big reasons behind their split, but he didn’t agree with her comments.
“This is not my world, nor do I have any further interest in it. These are manufactured celebrities in manufactured lives who manufacture their own truths,” Caffrey told Us Weekly. “I look forward to getting back to MY reality among real people. My loving family and my vast amount of friends.”

Caffrey concluded his statement by saying he had nothing more to say, and he wasn’t going to dignify Staub’s “absurd, defamatory, and false comments.”
Staub told Williams during her interview that Caffrey hits cocktail hour “heavily,” and that does change things. She added that the changes in Caffrey haven’t been for the better, and it has affected his ability to maneuver through what is going on.
When Williams asked Staub if Caffrey “liked being a househusband,” the reality star said that his desire for attention is what disappointed her. She explained that you can’t tweet or post things on Instagram about your spouse. “You just don’t do that,” she said.
Staub and Caffrey got married in May in a lavish ceremony at the Luna Beach Club in the Bahamas’ North Bimini Island, but he filed for divorce in September. And, before they officially split, she attempted to get a temporary restraining order against Caffrey after she found him in their garage in mid-August under the influence of alcohol, and he was agitated and confrontational.

Caffrey also filed his own restraining order against Staub, but her rep said that Caffrey’s claims were “laughable.”
Staub has survived a lot in her 56 years. She has battled tabloid headlines, failed engagements, and health issues because of arthritis. Now, she is confident that she will survive her divorce and “push through this like a warrior.”
Danielle Staub says that she will overcome this like she has everything else, and she will land on her feet. She added that she would not change who she is, even if that means that she ends up alone for the rest of her life. No matter what, Staub says she will be happy.
New episodes of Real Housewives of New Jersey will return to Bravo on Wednesday, November 7th.
