During Season 2 of Real Housewives of Dallas, star LeeAnne Locken shocked fans when she spread the rumor that Cary Deuber’s husband, Mark Deuber, was at a gay bar called The Round-Up. It turns out that she didn’t actually see Mark at the bar herself, it was a story she had heard that turned out to be false. So, where did the rumor come from?
The answer to that question finally came during part one of the RHOD Season 3 reunion when Cary revealed that the person who started the rumor was her ex-florist. Apparently, the florist was mad about something, and Cary said that it was “enlightening” for her to hear that.

In October 2017, Mark told The Daily Dish how he dealt with the rumors about his sexuality.
“Well, I mean, one way to deal with that is you have to laugh about it because it’s ridiculous. I know what I am, but at the same time, I’m into girls. I’m only into girls. I’m really only into [Cary],” Mark said. “But it’s sad that people throw this around to try to hurt people because there are people out there who are in the closet or are worried about coming out, and they’re struggling every day.”
Because Locken was so quick to spread the rumor, Cary admitted at the beginning of Season 3 that she wasn’t sure she wanted to be friends with her co-star because she was so upset. Cary says that she was open to an apology because she “gave grace,” so she decided to work on the friendship. But, it has taken a lot and it has been a long road.

At last season’s reunion Locken apologized to Mark for spreading gossip about him, and during this season’s reunion she said once again that she takes full responsibility for her actions. Locken has also said that she gets choked up when she thinks about how far her relationship with Mark and Cary has come, and she is grateful for where they are and hopeful about where they can go.
As for Locken’s friendship with D’Andra Simmons, it looks like that is over. Simmons told host Andy Cohen at the beginning of the reunion that she had been keeping a secret for Locken for two years. She explained that Locken told her when she joined the show that Cary had planned to fat shame her the same way she fat-shamed her “fixer-upper” husband.

Cary said that Simmons was “dumb” for believing LeeAnne Locken, and Locken told Simmons that the fat shaming story was a lie.
The three women continued to snipe at each other throughout part one of the reunion, and it spilled over onto social media with some nasty tweets.
Part two of the Real Housewives of Dallas Season 3 reunion airs Wednesday night on Bravo.
