Fans of Real Housewives of Orange County have seen star Vicki Gunvalson go through her share of bad breakups over the years, and her current boyfriend, Steve Lodge, has had a few of his own. Lodge has gone through two nasty divorces, including one from second wife Tonya Compton who he left after he discovered she was having an affair.
In court papers from the Superior Court of California in Orange County, Lodge filed for divorce from Compton in March 2013 after nearly three years of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences. Seven months later, he requested that the court bifurcate marital status while the former couple hashed out property division and spousal support. In the motion, he also accused Compton of infidelity.

“Petitioner and I were married on September 22, 2009,” Lodge wrote in the filing. “By June of 2012, Tonya was engaged in an extra-marital affair with a married man. I discovered the affair in August 2012, and we separated from the marriage the first week of September 2012.”
In Compton’s response, she accused Lodge of dragging out the litigation as long as possible, despite the fact that he had asked the court to “immediately dissolve the marriage.” She said she had made numerous attempts to amicably settle the divorce. But, he had refused all offers and wouldn’t negotiate.
Compton also said Lodge had continued to deliberately delay a settlement and didn’t even provide the minimum documentation that the court had requested.
Lodge and Compton eventually reached a settlement agreement, and a judge terminated the marriage in May 2014.
According to Radar Online, Compton did have a boyfriend named Michael Thomas while she was married to Lodge. And, Thomas filed a restraining order against Lodge in September 2012. Thomas said that Lodge showed up at the hotel he was staying in, and then checked in himself.
Then, Lodge called Thomas’ room from the lobby in an attempt to find out what room he was staying in. When Lodge found Thomas, he allegedly assaulted him by punching him in the face multiple times.
Thomas claimed that he suffered a black eye and bruising, and he also says Lodge told him that he would kill him if he could get away with it. In his filing, Thomas also claimed that Lodge was a “volatile individual” who stalked him on multiple occasions. And, he was worried that Lodge would continue to stalk or assault him.
The court ended up granting the temporary restraining order.

In his response, Lodge said that Thomas was the one who confronted him, and when he turned to walk away, Thomas reached out and grabbed his arm. So, he defended himself by knocking Thomas’ hand away and striking him repeatedly until he no longer feared for his safety.
In November 2012, the court dismissed the action without prejudice and dissolved the temporary restraining order.
