'RHOC' Vicki Gunvalson Tries To Make Nice With Kelly Dodd After Gross Accusations
It looks like Vicki Gunvalson is now trying to take the high road when it comes to her ongoing feud with Kelly Dodd. Gunvalson seems to be trying to de-escalate the situation as things between the two stars have reached a boiling point.
The tension between the two has been ongoing, but started in Season 13 of The Real Housewives of Orange County when Dodd accused Gunvalson of setting her ex-husband, Michael Dodd, up with another woman.
Gunvalson vehemently denied the set-up, but ultimately admitted that she did go on double dates with the couple.
Things hit an all-time high on the first part of the RHOC reunion over accusations from Gunvalson aimed at Dodd, accusing her of doing cocaine and being a poor parent.
Dodd wasn’t the only one upset about the accusations concerning her parenting. Her daughter, Jolie, had some carefully chosen words in regard to Gunvalson’s statements. Some fans take Jolie’s involvement and comments about the feud to be proof that Gunvalson’s accusations are true, stating that a 12-year-old has no business being involved in something like this.
After more back and forth between the two reality stars, Gunvalson seems to have softened her stance toward Dodd.
According to Us Weekly, Gunvalson responded to a fan on Instagram saying, “It’s really sad. When she needs a friend to help her I’ll be there for her.”
Dodd does not seem to share this sentiment. She has threatened to leave the show if Gunvalson is part of it for Season 14. Dodd told a fan via Instagram that she couldn’t see herself returning to the show if Gunvalson continued to be involved. She feels that her costars are hurting the show as well as damaging her reputation.
And it should be noted, that a few years ago, Bravo fired Phaedra Parks from the RHOA for making drug-related accusations.
Kelly Dodd and Vicki Gunvalson continue their war on Part 2 of The Real Housewives of Orange County reunion Sunday, December 2nd on Bravo.
