David Foster’s recent encounter with Real Housewives of Orange County star Kelly Dodd didn’t exactly go as planned. While exiting a restaurant in Los Angeles, TMZ caught Dodd trying to. Unfortunately for the reality star, not only did Foster not recognize her but he quickly kicked her to the curb.
A rep of Foster released a statement after the embarrassing incident, bashing Dodd for her careless behavior. The spokesperson explained how Foster thought Dodd was completely disrespectful and acted inappropriately given the setting. Foster also said that he drove away a little shaken after the incident.
The statement also made it clear that Foster left the restaurant alone and was not accompanied by Dodd.
Even after the embarrassing video surfaced, Dodd tried to play things off as a big joke. The RHOC star revealed that she was hanging out with her friends, Lea Black and Heather McDonald, at the time and was only trying to joke around with Foster.
In the video, Dodd tells Foster that everyone should have a housewife as she opens his car door. David Foster clearly didn’t think the joke was funny and immediately drove away.
Dodd’s careless night out comes after announcing her divorce in September. Dodd parted ways with her husband, Michael Dodd, and opened up about the split during the RHOC Season 12 reunion.
Dodd told her co-stars that she and Michael were frequently fighting and that he couldn’t get over his jealousy problems. Things got so bad that Dodd eventually pulled the plug on her marriage. This, of course, is the second time Dodd and Michael have parted ways. They split back in 2012 but ultimately decided to remain together and fix their broken marriage.
Kelly Dodd is currently living in her own home and adjusting to life as a single woman. Based on what happened between her and Foster, it doesn’t look like things are going the way Dodd intended.
New episodes of the Real Housewives of Orange County air Monday nights on Bravo.
