Real Housewives of Orange County star Shannon Beador’s custody battle with her estranged husband David Beador came to an end yesterday when the courts ordered joint legal and physical custody of their three girls – Sophie, Stella, and Adeline – and awarded Shannon $30,000 a month in child and spousal support. But, even though the reality star is thrilled with the huge win, could her daughters be furious with the outcome?
The judge’s ruling gave Shannon everything she wanted, but David was not happy, got extremely angry in court, and argued over the terms of the financial agreement.
He chose to represent himself instead of getting a lawyer, and he thought he had the situation “in the bag,” but he ended up looking like a fool, according to Radar. David says that he is disappointed by the outcome, especially because he feels like he is being taken advantage of.
And, when it comes to their daughters, they are close to their mom right now, and they don’t want to split their time between their parents.
“The girls understand that they will have to follow the court’s orders, but they just think it is extremely messed up,” an insider said. “They do not want to be around him when all he does is talk s**t about their mom.”
However, they do still love him because he is their dad, but after witnessing what he put their mom and the family through, they know what kind of a man he is.
David has already started dating again and is currently in a relationship with 34-year-old Lesley Cook. The girls do not have any interest in being around their father’s new girlfriend, and they don’t want David talking about his new woman with them.
Cook, however, has decided to speak up about her new man in the middle of his divorce, and she says that he is a wonderful father and his girls always come first in his life. Cook says that David takes his daughters to school every morning, and he takes them to their various activities.
She says that David is always there for them and they are the light in his life.
Cook decided to make the comments on behalf of her boyfriend because of all the negative press lately about David being a bad dad. She added that the 53-year-old goes above and beyond for his daughters.
New episodes of Real Housewives of Orange County, which are surely going to cover Shannon Beador’s nasty divorce, will air later this spring on Bravo.
