'RHOC' Kelly Dodd Visited By Police 11 Times This Year Over Domestic Disturbances
Real Housewives of Orange County star Kelly Dodd has a long history of domestic drama, and according to the insider , this past summer has been no different. After all it looks like the police have been called to the reality star’s home eleven times this year!
This year’s trouble started back in April when police were called to her home twice for an “ACO telephone call, ” and a “follow-up.” Then in May, law enforcement returned for a “domestic disturbance” call. However, in July things seem to get even worse.
Police reportedly showed up at Dodd’s Newport Beach, California home seven times in less than a week. On July 17th, the police arrived for a “disturbance” call, and just a few days later, on the 20th, officers responded to four different calls for “keeping the peace” all happening just a few minutes apart.
On July 21st and 22nd, the cops responded to two more “keep the peace” calls, and finally, on August 6th there was a 911 call from a cell phone.
This pattern of police visits is nothing new for Kelly Dodd, 46, who has been involved with numerous restraining orders when it comes to her exes.
In 2013, she accused her then-fiancé Jeffrey Caldwell of hitting her, and the allegations resulted in Caldwell getting arrested and Dodd receiving a restraining order against him.
The case was dismissed later in the year, but not before Caldwell’s estranged wife filed an order against Dodd because of harassing text messages.
The next year, her husband, Michael Dodd, filed a restraining order against her after she was arrested for hitting him. To get the order terminated, she attended ten Alcoholics Anonymous meetings and six months of therapy.
Then in 2015, Dodd got involved in restraining order number three, this time filing against her ex-fiancé’s new girlfriend, Heidi Delgadillo. In Dodd’s complaint, she accused Delgadillo of harassing her and her daughter, Jolie.
Delgadillo’s kids went to the same school as Jolie, and one day the harassment turned physical near the carpool lane.
“[She] says, ‘Look at your fake bag. I, in turn, said, ‘Look at your fake hair, fake boobs, and fake lips.’ She, in turn, digs her nails into my arm, in defense I put my nails into her. Things are out of control. Things are escalating. I have been at this school for five years, and she comes and attacks me!” Dodd wrote in her complaint.
