Gina Kirschenheiter cannot wait to get back in the dating pool. The Real Housewives of Orange County newcomer is moving forward with her divorce and looks to be ready for the single life. How will Gina’s divorce affect her future on RHOC?
Gina recently filed documents to speed up the divorce process. The RHOC star gave her estranged husband, Matthew Kirschenheiter, all of her financial reports in a bid to win spousal support. The move is a clear indication that Gina wants to move forward with the divorce and get it settled as quickly as possible.
According to The Blast, Gina was married for eight years before calling it quits. Gina filed for divorce last spring and shares three kids with Matthew. Gina is looking to win primary physical and joint legal custody of the kids. She is also seeking spousal support.
Matthew, on the other hand, wants to split custody, though he has agreed to pay Gina support. He also requested the judge to award him all of his pre-marriage assets, including jewelry, personal items, and clothing.
Gina has not commented on the divorce proceedings or her desire to start dating again. No word yet on when the divorce will be settled, but it is clear Gina wants to end things quickly.
It is unclear how Gina’s divorce will affect her future on Bravo’s hit reality show. Gina has generated plenty of drama on the series, so her chances of getting invited back next season are good.
In fact, RHOC star Vicki Gunvalson recently told Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live that Gina is stirring up drama because she wants to return next season.

After a caller asked Gunvalson about Gina’s intentions, the OG of the OC revealed that her co-star is probably just trying to “make her mark.”
“I think she’s stirring the pot. I do, I like Gina, but I definitely feel like there were many, many times when she didn’t have to say what she did,” Gunvalson shared.
