Porsha Williams could not be happier now that she’s expecting her first child with fiancé Dennis McKinley. The Real Housewives of Atlanta star just confirmed the exciting news about her pregnancy, though new reports about McKinley’s shady past might ruin their baby bliss.
In the spring of 2015, McKinley found himself at the center of a legal battle with his ex-girlfriend, Shanise Thomason. McKinley took Thomason to court for breaching the trademark of his company, Queen Virgin Remy.
McKinley also says that Thomason stole hair care products from one of his stores worth close to $6,000. Thomason allegedly entered the store with a large bag and dumped hair care products inside.

The trademark issues came about because Thomason told police that she was part owner of the store so that she would avoid arrest. According to Atlanta Black Star, Thomason eventually turned herself in and authorities slapped shoplifting charges on her. But Thomason did not go down without a fight.
Thomason then sued McKinley and claimed that she did have co-ownership of the company. She says that she and McKinley opened the store together and became business partners in the venture.
She also claims that she fronted the money to open the store and that McKinley agreed to split all of the profits with her. Despite their differences, the two parties settled out of court for an unspecified sum.
Although McKinley certainly has some skeletons in his closet, Williams is not worried about them. Instead, the RHOA star is thrilled about their future and cannot wait to become a mom.
Even though a few of her co-stars have expressed doubts about Dennis McKinley’s past, Porsha Williams is willing to trust him and see where their relationship takes them.
The new season of the Real Housewives of Atlanta is scheduled to premiere Nov. 4 on Bravo.
