Last summer Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kenya Moore secretly got married and then she refused to let her new husband, Marc Daly, be on the show this season – and those decisions have cost her a spot in the cast. Producers have reportedly fired Moore, and to rub salt on the wound, they are replacing her with her nemesis, Kim Zolciak.
Moore’s behavior – the quickie wedding and the secret married life – infuriated producers. Meanwhile, Zolciak has brought the drama, and it’s time to promote her from a friend of the show back to a full-time housewife.
Zolciak even went as far as to accuse Moore of lying about the wedding and her new husband, saying that he didn’t even exist. This caused Moore to rip into her mortal enemy.
“Why is Kim so obsessed with me and why is she so angry. If she’s so happy with her 10 kids and her husband, why is she so focused on me?” claimed Moore.
The 46-year-old’s scandal is giving Zolciak the perfect opportunity to return to the show because viewers know her, and she has no problem mixing it up with the ladies. She will have no problem bringing real drama that Moore seemingly had to manufacture.
The former beauty queen did try to secure her place on the show with an insane stunt, but producers didn’t buy it. After they didn’t invite Moore on the cast trip to Barcelona (which cost her $100,000), she decided to concoct a pregnancy plan.
Moore went to a doctor and claimed she was six weeks late and teased that she could be pregnant, but the doctor said that she needed a blood test for accurate results.
In reality, Moore never believed that she was pregnant, and it was all a stunt to spice up her story this season.
At this point, no one believes anything Moore says, and they know she was so desperate to stay on the show she was willing to make things up.
Meanwhile, Zolciak didn’t go to Barcelona because she couldn’t bring her husband, Kroy Biermann. She explained that two years ago she had a mini-stroke on a flight from Los Angeles, and she doesn’t feel comfortable on a long flight without him.
Zolciak also said that she didn’t understand why it was an issue to bring him, but for some of the women it was a girls-only trip, and they didn’t want any men joining them. So, when it came down to it, she was uneasy with the idea of not having Biermann with her, and she decided not to go.
