Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams recently announced that she is expecting her first child, and she is already cashing in on her surprising baby news. According to a new report, Williams scored a pay raise from Bravo after announcing she was going to be a mom, and she is no longer the lowest paid housewife on the show.
“Porsha was making $800,000 last season, but this season she is getting a massive raise of over $1.25 million,” reveals an insider. “This also guarantees Porsha another season on RHOA, and she will probably keep getting raises after that.”
Last season, NeNe Leakes made $2.5 million, and Kenya Moore raked in $1.5 million. But, Bravo fired Moore over the summer after she refused to let cameras at her secret wedding to Marc Daly. Plus, they never shared their marriage on the show. During the Season 10 reunion, Moore announced she was pregnant, but it wasn’t enough to save her job on RHOA.
Kenya Moore’s firing ultimately freed up some cash, and now Williams is reaping the benefits. And unlike Moore, Williams is more than happy to reveal everything about her relationship and pregnancy.
Because she didn’t announce her pregnancy until the end of filming, Williams has agreed to film through the month of October, so they can include the baby storyline in the upcoming season.
When Williams first announced that she was expecting earlier this month, she said that going to the first appointment and knowing the baby is fine has helped her wrap her mind around becoming a mom. She has suffered from miscarriages before, and she had concerns about carrying the baby to full term.
And now, it looks like the RHOA star may have accidentally revealed the sex of her unborn child. Late last week she responded to beauty influencer Ming Lee’s Instagram post, and her comment had fans talking.

Lee posted a pic of four babies taking a nap underneath hair dryers at a hair salon, and Williams loved the photo so much that she had to comment. She wrote, “I wish my baby was out. I would have her right there getting done up.”
Fans immediately noticed that Williams called her baby a “her,” and everyone started asking her if she was having a girl. But, she did not respond. This all happened just days after she told her social media followers that she thought she was having a boy. Williams thought the baby was a boy because he was doing “Crossfit” in her belly.
We don’t know yet if Porsha Williams will have a gender reveal party. But, chances are we’ll just have to pay attention to her Instagram to get the inside scoop.
New episodes of Real Housewives of Atlanta will return to Bravo later this year.
