A fateful arrow may have ended the romance of Jon Snow and Ygritte on Game of Thrones, but their real-life counterparts Kit Harington and Rose Leslie are still together and very much in love – and now the two are officially married. Harington and Leslie tied the knot at Kirkton of Rayne church in Scotland over the weekend, and many of their Game of Thrones co-stars were there to witness the nuptials.
According to People Magazine, Leslie wore a long-sleeve lace dress and a floral garland along with a white veil on her head. As her dad walked her down the aisle, the 31-year-old carried a small bouquet. The groom dressed up in a black jacket, cream-colored vest, white shirt, black tie, and striped pants.

GoT stars Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark) and Maisie Williams (Arya Stark) arrived together at the venue, and they both wore red and black. Turner went with a red suit dress and some black over-the-knee boots, while Williams wore a black jumpsuit and red heels.
Emmy Award and Golden Globe winner Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister) and Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen) were also on hand, and cameras caught both of them arriving in Aberdeen, Scotland, the day before the ceremony.
The newlyweds and their guests gathered at Wardhill Castle – part of Leslie’s family estate – for the reception.

Harington and Leslie got engaged last September, and the actor admitted that his proposal didn’t go as he originally planned. He said he was going to “string up some lights” and do other romantic things. But, one night the couple was out in the country under a beautiful night sky, and as they were sitting by a fire and drinking red wine, he had to go ahead and ask her.
The couple met back in 2012 on the set of Game of Thrones and fell in love off-screen while they played on-screen lovers. They did split briefly but eventually reconciled and publicly confirmed their relationship in April 2016. The first time they set foot on the red carpet together was at the Olivier Awards in London.
Harington has admitted that the early days of their romance – when they were shooting season two in Iceland – were his favorite of the HBO drama.
“Because the country is beautiful, because the Northern Lights are magical, and because it was there that I fell in love,” Harington said. “If you’re already attracted to someone, and then they play your love interest in the show, it becomes very easy to fall in love.”
Kit Harington returns for the final season of Game of Thrones in the spring of 2019.
