Did Jinger Duggar’s husband, Jeremy Vuolo, just bash his wife’s family? Vuolo is a pastor at Grace Community Church in Laredo, Texas, and in a recent sermon, he had some interesting comments that many fans believe were directed at the former stars of 19 Kids & Counting. It seems the Counting On star may be ready to let his differences from the Duggar family sine through.
In Touch Weekly is reporting that Vuolo recently fired shots at his in-laws when – in front of his congregation – he bashed people who “profess Christianity but reject engagement of the mind. As a result, we have a whole generation conditioned to go on to believe what Mom and Dad believe. They’re not challenged to discern the truth or question what they’ve been told.”
Fans on Reddit immediately responded by pointing out that is exactly what the Duggars do. One user suspected that something must have gone down that we don’t know about, or the reality stars are all hypocrites and just don’t realize it.
Since Jinger married Vuolo, she has emerged as the rebel in the family, especially since she married a man that is more secular than the rest of the Duggar in-laws. Vuolo went to Syracuse University, drank alcohol, got tattoos, and even played professional soccer.
When the news broke that police arrested him for drunkenly harassing a police officer back in 2008, he said that it was because he was young at the time and he was living foolishly in the college party scene.
But Vuolo says that he sought out accountability, and now he sees great victory in his life. However, he is obviously not as conservative as the Duggars – at least when it comes to the dress code –, since he is ok with his wife wearing pants, high heels, shorts, sleeveless shirts, and miniskirts.
The couple has now been married for about a year-and-a-half, and they are expecting their first child this July. Jinger continues to update fans on social media with pictures of her growing baby bump, and she recently updated her pregnancy journey with a pic of herself and Vuolo gazing into each other’s eyes.
Jinger is 23 weeks along, and in the pic, she continued her rebel ways by wearing a flower-patterned black-and-white sleeveless top that highlighted her belly, along with tight black pants and tan heels.
Fans are loving the woman that Jinger is becoming now that she is a wife and a mom-to-be, and they continue to flood her Instagram with comments of support for her marriage, her growing family, and the life she is sharing with the world.
New episodes of Counting On will air on TLC later this summer.
