Rasheeda Frost shared a message on her social media account about this terrible year. Check it out below.
She’s obviously also referring to the murder of George Floyd which shocked and enraged the whole country.
A follower said: ‘The right way is the only way they understand & that’s with violence. Sometimes you have to meet aggression with aggression. They haven’t felt us really come together & fight & now might be the time.’
Someone else said: ‘Ok, wtf do y’all want …. Make up your mind your either with the movement of your not …. NO JUSTICE NO PEACE!!!!!’
A commenter exclaimed: ‘No! Enough talking! At what point is a knee on your neck, bullets in your back, your front, killers not being convicted, and y’all still want to be docile, meek, and TALK! THEY DONT GIVE AF WHAT YOU HAVE TO SAY!!!’
Someone else shared this precious quote: ‘“But it is not enough for me to stand before you tonight and condemn riots. It would be morally irresponsible for me to do that without, at the same time, condemning the contingent, intolerable conditions that exist in our society. These conditions are the things that cause individuals to feel that they have no other alternative than to engage in violent rebellions to get attention. And I must say tonight that a riot is the language of the unheard. And what is it America has failed to hear? It has failed to hear that the plight of the negro poor has worsened over the last twelve or fifteen years. It has failed to hear that the promises of freedom and justice have not been met. And it has failed to hear that large segments of white society are more concerned about tranquility and the status quo than about justice and humanity.” Martin Luther King Jr.’
A commenter told Rasheeda: ‘Thank you for being a light during this time and not encouraging this violence.’
