Rapper Bad Bunny to play Spider-Man foe in Marvel movie. Sony Pictures has unveiled a new Marvel project. The solo film will receive a minor character from the comics; El Muerto writes Variety.

In the comics, El Muerto is a wrestler named Juan Carlos Estrada Sanchez. He possesses inhuman strength when he fights by wearing a hereditary fighting mask. Sony has clarified that Bad Bunny will play an anti-hero who is about to gain the power of his father.

His image will be embodied by rapper Bad Bunny (real name - Benito Antonio Martinez Ocasio). He will be the first Hispanic to star in a live-action Marvel film.

In the comics, El Muerto is known as Juan Carlos Estrada Sanchez. His superpower is superhuman strength. He gets it thanks to the mask, which is inherited.

El Muerto entered the same ring with Spider-Man and almost defeated him. He also had to join forces with Peter Parker in the fight against another villain - El Dorado.

Sony has not finally aired the trailer for El Muerto, as no director has been employed to produce the film, and the show has not started. Fans should hope to see the first teaser of the film after additional progress.

According to Sony, Bad Bunny's character is an anti-hero who is about to inherit his father's power.

This isn't the first Marvel spin-off about Spider-Man's enemies. For example, recently, the world premiere of "Morbius" took place. The fantasy action movie was one of the most anticipated releases of the spring. But even Jared Leto in the title role did not save him. The film received a Rotten rating on the review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes.

It is planned that the world premiere of the film about El Muerto will take place on January 12, 2024.
