Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra became husband and wife on December 1st, and the Quantico actress has made the marriage Instagram official by changing her name to “Priyanka Chopra Jonas” in her bio. In addition to changing her name, she also shared multiple pictures and videos from the newlyweds’ multi-day wedding celebration in India.
The wedding festivities started on Wednesday, November 28th, and continued until Sunday, December 2nd. They began with a Hindu ritual prayer called pooja, and that was followed by sangeet, mehndi, and haldi ceremonies. Those all led up to the main event, which was a Western ceremony officiated by Jonas’ dad, Kevin Jonas Sr., at the Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur, Rajasthan.
Nick’s brothers Kevin, Joe, and Frankie were his groomsmen, and Chopra’s former co-stars Jack McBrayer, Chord Overstreet, and Yasmine Al Massri were all guests at the wedding.
According to The Cut, there was a social media lockdown during the first few days of the celebration. Chopra finally posted some pics and videos on Saturday that featured the entire Jonas and Chopra families battling it out in a dance competition, which was part of the sangeet.

Each family had to put together a dance performance that showed how Nick and Priyanka met, and Joe, Kevin, and Sophie Turner all took part.
“Nick and I were looking forward to the sangeet (musical evening), another pre-wedding ritual,” Priyanka wrote on Instagram. “Each family telling our stories through song and dance, filled with lots of laughter and love. We were both filled with gratitude for the effort, the love, and the laughter and will carry the memories of this special evening for the rest of our lives.”
Chopra also shared pics from the mehndi ceremony which she called an “important part of the pre-wedding rituals.” It involved the bride receiving henna tattoos, and she said that it kicked off the celebration in a way that both she and Nick had dreamed.
The couple stepped out for the first time as a married couple on Sunday when they walked the red carpet at the Bumble India launch party in New Delhi.
Now that the celebration is over, the former Bollywood star says that it is time to get back to work, and she shared her new Forbes cover and Vogue cover in recent Instagram posts.
