Princess Beatrice's New BF Reportedly Dumped His Baby Mama For Prince Harry's Cousin
Princess Beatrice's latest romance is off to a shaky start. Beatrice's new lover reportedly dumped the mother of his son after hooking up with Prince Harry's cousin last month.
Edoardo 'Edo' Mapelli Mozzi was engaged to Dara Huang, the mother of his two-year-old son, when he met Beatrice at Princess Eugenie's wedding in October.
Inside sources claim that Mozzi and Huang got engaged over three years ago and that he stayed with her even after getting with Beatrice. But Mozzi coldly ended their relationship once things with Beatrice heated up.
"Edo and Dara were engaged for three-and-a-half years," an insider dished. "Even after the romance began, he continued to live at the family home with Dara and their child."
Beatrice was reportedly proud of her new boyfriend when she introduced him to her mother and father, the Duke and Duchess of York. It is not clear if Beatrice knew about Mozzi's ex-fiancée, but the news probably won't sit well with the rest of the royal family.
Although Mozzi ended things poorly, Huang refuses to talk about the split. A friend of Huang told Radar Online that she will not talk to the media about the breakup.
Instead, Huang is focused on the well-being of their son, Christopher 'Woolfie' Woolf, and wants to keep him out of the mess at all costs.
The royal family has not released an official statement about Beatrice's new boyfriend. An aide in the palace reportedly noted that Beatrice did not intentionally ruin Mozzi's engagement and would never breakup a family.
Mozzi is a property consultant and belongs to a family with a large fortune. He and Beatrice first met when they were kids, but were not romantically involved until last month.
Beatrice previously dated Dave Clark, the executive of Uber. The pair were together for a decade before calling it quits in 2016.
Their relationship reportedly ended after Princess Beatrice demanded they get married. While Beatrice has yet to get married, Clark recently tied the knot.
