The royal wedding of the century is about to take place between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, and there is a significant possibility that Barack Obama and his wife, Michelle, will be present and Donald Trump will not.

The current president of the United States and First Lady Melania Trump will probably not get an invitation because of his behavior towards the late Princess Diana. This week, the former Suit actress and Harry made it official.

The pair stood at Kensington Palace in the Sunken Gardens, which was one of Princess Diana’s favorite places, in front of reporters and TV anchors from all over the world and announced that they are engaged.

The wedding is set to take place in May at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle.

Of course, the entire royal family will be at the event and it has been confirmed that Queen Elizabeth II will attend along with Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.

The date selected is about one month after Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, welcome their third child in early April. Therefore, Kate and William will be present.

Millions of people all over the world took to social media to congratulate the happy couple among them, former President Obama who shared a lovely tweet that read: "Michelle and I are delighted to congratulate Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on their engagement. We wish you a lifetime of joy and happiness together."

Many believe that the former POTUS and his spouse will be invited because they are very close to Prince Harry.

Mr. Obama, who attended the Invictus Games in Canada with Harry over the summer, jokingly told him that it was time to propose to Markle.

As for Mr. Trump, he is not loved by William and Harry because of specific lewd remarks he made about their late mother, Diana.

Trump was on The Howard Stern Show in 2000 where he explained that he hoped to date Princess Diana but wanted her to be tested for a sexually transmitted disease.

Mr. Trump in his own words: "She was really beautiful, and people did not realize that beautiful. She was supermodel beautiful. She had the height; she had the beauty, she had the skin, the whole thing. She is magnificent. She was crazy, but these are minor details.”

Trump went on to say that Diana needed to take an HIV test.

Appearing on The Nightly Show With Larry Wilmore during the 2016 election, Markle called Trump misogynistic and said she would move to Canada if he won the presidency.
