It seems like at every royal event Prince George somehow manages to steal the spotlight! Prince William and Kate Middleton’s 4-year-old son was once again pretty out of control today at the Trooping the Colour parade. However, this time around his cousin made the situation even funnier!
Was the little boy out-sassed? The pics tell all.
For the huge event that encompassed 1400 parading soldiers, 200 horses and also 400 musicians, all gathered to celebrate Queen Elizabeth II’s 92nd birthday, the Royals were all on the Buckingham Palace’s balcony.
In order to properly watch the aircraft by the Royal Air Force flying above them, George and his older sister Charlotte were front and center.
But while the siblings, the boy, in particular, are known for being quite rowdy in public, the granddaughter of Princess Anne, Savannah (daughter of Peter and Autumn Phillips) kept the child in check.
The photos captioned that epic moment when the 7-year-old girl hilariously deadpanned to the camera as she put her hand over her cousin’s mouth, making him shut up.
In another shot, Savannah can be seen attempting another silencing method as she is shushing Prince George.
Of course, the little girl loosened her control over her younger cousin and enjoyed the event as well at times.
On the balcony, there were also present: Queen Elizabeth, Prince William and Kate, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, as well as Prince Charles.
Prince Philip was not in attendance, and neither was William and Kate’s newborn son, Prince Philip.
Another thing that caught people’s attention aside from the cute banter between the kids was Meghan’s attire, which broke royal protocol by baring her shoulders.
