Jordin Sparks stunned many of her fans with the announcement of her marriage and pregnancy all in one day just a couple of weeks ago.
The American Idol alum dropped that bit of life news and seems to be making the rounds talking about her new projects, new marriage, and her baby boy on the way.
When asked how she’s been feeling, Sparks was incredibly chipper and grateful for her energy.
She admits that she hasn’t been suffering from any type of morning sickness and that she feels really good overall. She does sometimes randomly suffer from headaches but they are pretty few and far between.
Sparks married boyfriend Dana Isaiah in mid-July and both sides of the family are incredibly excited for the newest addition.
Sparks explains she is flying by the seat of her pants when it comes to this whole baby thing because she’s not much of a planner. Her and Isaiah are just going with the flow and not really planning too much in advance.
When asked if Sparks has any interest in being apart of the American Idol reboot that which will be airing next year, she expressed interest. In fact, she was apart of the audition kickoff during the summer which she enjoyed very much. Sparks won the sixth season of American Idol back when she was just 17 years old.
Ten years later, she could have an integral part in someone else living out their dream.
It’s unclear what her function could be as all the judge slots are filled but she pointed out that there are so many working parts to the show. “I don’t know what capacity it will be in yet because there are so many pieces.
They do the auditions, then they do Hollywood Week, and then there’s 24 and all of those different things,” Sparks explained.
Sparks reveals she’ll be more than willing to jump in wherever needed. It’s possible that the contestants will have more of a coaching atmosphere this time around where Sparks would serve as a great option.
The American Idol reboot is set to premiere March 2018.
